We are happy to announce that The Graduate Center’s M.A. in Liberal Studies program is extending their deadline for Fall 2020 applications to June 1st. Liberal Studies is an interdisciplinary program with almost twenty concentrations spanning the Humanities and Social Sciences, making it a great option for those with a wide variety of academic interests. Students can also choose the Individualized Studies concentration to further customize the program to meet their interests.
A number of our other master’s programs—Biography and Memoir, Classics, Cognitive Neuroscience, Comparative Literature, Data Analysis and Visualization, Data Science, Digital Humanities, International Migration Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, Nanoscience, Philosophy, Political Science, Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences, and Women’s and Gender Studies—are continuing to accept applications as well, with each of these having an April 15th deadline. Not all programs have the same application requirements, so check here for more information on each.
The GRE is not a requirement to apply for Liberal Studies, so apply today! If you have any questions, please contact us in the Office of Admissions. Admissions representatives are available to discuss Graduate Center master’s and doctoral programs, and how they fit into your graduate school plans. And check out our Admissions Calendar for upcoming recruitment events.
